Help us protect our Sanctuary City 

We are a grassroots nonprofit that operates on a shoestring budget. We started as a volunteer-led effort in 2022 to support asylum seekers who were bused to New York City as part of a political ploy on the part of border states politicians, and we will remain united to defend our Sanctuary City during Trump’s second term. Our goal has always been to respond nimbly to changes in the immigration system and empower recently arrived immigrants to confidently navigate their own legal cases and share their knowledge with others in the community. Through sanctuary networks and community mobilization, we will fight for our neighbors and the city we love.

To prepare for January 20th, we will hire an immigration attorney to train more volunteers, and expand the scope of our community education programming. ​Support our GoFundMe to raise $120,000 to address this decisive moment.
